THE MISADVENTURE TALKS: CARSEAT SAFETY + A GIVEAWAY

I’ll come right out and say it – I used to work for a carseat company and still found the buying, installing, and cleaning of them stressful.  Plus I had questions! So. Many. Questions.  Which one should I buy? Does it look right in the car? Is that little ball matching up to the line on the side? When should I switch to a forward facing seat? Are my kids too big for this style? Are my kids too small for this style? And how the hell do I get puke off the buckle crevices? Keeping up with the regulations can feel like a full time job.

Carseat safety and maintence is a major, major deal and it’s important to get the facts.  Do you have questions you’ve always wanted to ask but never had the opportunity?  Nothing is off the table in our MIM talks (as long as you play nice.)  I have a carseat expert from Safety 1st standing by to help answer any and all carseat questions you may have and together we’ll do our best to get them answered.  Go on over to the Misadventures in Mommyhood Facebook page and comment under this post.  If you don’t have any specific carseat questions that’s okay too, just join the conversation and tag a friend.  You will all be entered to win a Grow & Go Ex Air Protect Carseat by Safety 1stThat’s a $200 value, my friends. A winner will be chosen on Friday, April 29th.  Oh and make sure to check out the recent video I did for them on this magnificent beast, below.
(But seriously You Tube, can I catch a break on these automated freeze frames?)

For those of you that have asked, my jacket is Michael Kors.  I’m not sure they are selling it in orange anymore but I’m loving Houndstooth just as much!
