“I just came across your page and wanted to tell you thanks. Your status message are hysterical and I totally relate. I have a daughter 5 and a son 14 months. I know it’s ridiculous to think that “no one understands” but sometimes it feels that way. Looking forward to more laughs. ”

Love, Love, Love this book!! This book is simply the truth and nothing but the truth!! As a new mom this book was a great read. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud and reflected on simliar moments that I also had while being pregnant and then being home with my son. I even read some of the chapters out loud to my husband and got a chuckle out of him. I highly recommend this book and will share it with all my other friends who are expecting or who have recently had babies. My fingers are crossed for another outstanding book by this author.  Laura Raner

I attended a book signing for Kristen Quinn’s new book “Misadventures in Mommyhood”. I have long been a fan of Kristen’s humor and wisdom with her blog (same title). I was so thrilled to see it’s a book! I bought one for my new daughter in law who is expecting.
Hilarious, wise, warm, a great voice for all young mothers.  Diane Grant

I follow the Misadventures in Mommyhood blog on facebook and I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of the book so that I can share it with friends and family who are mommys or soon to be! I don’t have children but Kristin’s wit and straight forwardness literally make me laugh out loud every time. I love that she is so transparent and down to earth, and I feel like I learn so much from each of her stories. I usually find myself smiling or have my eyebrows up with an O shaped mouth when I am finding out a new fact of mommyhood. I highly recommend this to anyone, of any age, and any child status:)  SaraB5544332211

Kristins’ stories are real, genuine and hilarious. Even as a woman who doesn’t have children yet, I can relate to all her tales. You can envision it all happening as you read it. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, Kristin, and creating a true work of art!  Jenny

If you want a heart warming, humorous, down to earth story about being a Mom for the first time, than this book is for you. You will laugh out loud as you read the tales written by Kristin. Her style is easy to read, blunt and to the point with a humorous edge. Her experiences are informative for the new Mom or memorable for experienced Moms. There is something in this book for all;men included! I highly recommend this book.  Martha

I love the honesty mixed with humor in this book. This is a “must read” for any Mom looking to make light of the day to day experiences of raising children. Kristin captures the first year of motherhood as a true realist – the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Funny, easy read – great to take on vacation or read at night when you can’t fall back asleep after one of your children wakes you. Kristin makes you feel like “we are in this mommy thing together.” Great book!  katef13

I sat down with the book after work, and next thing I knew I was 170 pages in! Kristin writes the truth – and as a mommy-to-be, it’s exactly what I want to read. I laughed all throughout at her engaging stories and I can’t wait to pass it on to my other mommy friends! A must read for any soon to be or new moms!  Faith
