I like special, limited edition finds, do you? I like being the only one in a 5 mile radius with something unique. You know, the opposite of basic. I wrote recently about my love for the Rachel Zoe collection on my favorite Maxi Cosi pieces. I’m still getting those “wow” compliments on my stroller and still want to say “I know, right!? Also there’s a baby in there.” 😉 Well, Maxi Cosi, with the help of Edward van Vliet, has managed to wow me again and provide just a little more arm candy for my stroller.
If you like a taste of the elegant, pure, and refined you will love this man’s designs. If you like subtle combinations that are contemporary but hold a timeless sense of class, you will love this man’s designs. Combine that with Maxi Cosi’s stellar product features and you’ve got a winning combination. I’m loving the Mico Max 30 infant seat for 2 main reasons: 1) It’s the LIGHTEST premium carseat available on the market and 2) It’s cozy self-wicking fabric actually deodorizes and draws liquid away from my fat, hot, summer baby’s skin.
Who you callin’ fat? And why am I in long pants? It’s 80 degrees, woman.
The seat goes from 4-30lbs. (which he’s approaching…quickly) and the innovative seat pad easily removes without having to rethread the harness for machine washability (is that a word?) I’ve been to China and I know you can not buy an unsafe car seat due to strict regulations. However I also know Dorel (the company that owns the Maxi Cosi and Safety 1st brands) goes above and beyond by using Air Protect Side Impact Protection and an anti-rebound bar to make every ride safer. We’ll be moving him into the Pria 85 Max convertible before I can say “Cankles, Thighs, and Cheeks” because these damn kids have a way of growing up.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the ClipQuick™ chest clip feature (oh look someone already has)
– it’s an auto-magnetic clip that opens easily from the front side with just one hand when getting your child out of the car. I only have 1 hand AT MOST when getting kids in and out of the car so this feature is tops on my list. Strapping them back in again is going to be easy too – the ClipQuik magnets slide together and lock on their own! Even the buckle is clever – it won’t get stuck under your toddler when getting in the seat or in clothing when getting out, thanks to it’s flip-away feature. Riggs might have to fight Decker off for this one!
