Hey team! It’s the end of January which apparently looks like this in New England:
In the month of January up here we are typically stuck inside left to our own devices which for me personally means shopping online. Check out this collection of goodies I’ve found (with two stellar giveaways tucked inside.)
My three year old does not like to wear socks. Something about the seam not being perfectly lined up to the toe every single time (I’m sure you’ve never heard of that before.) I like to pick my battles in the morning and so I choose an empty bladder and clean teeth over socked feet. Enter: Bogs. Comfortable, good-looking, and waterproof boots that you don’t need to wear socks in. Sure, they can get a little rank. But the best part? Toss ’em in the washing machine and they come out smelling good as new. A January Must-Have. (Miss P. is in the Classic Flower Dot and The D Man is rockin’ the Classic Camo)
I’m always on the hunt for yoga gear that looks great but doesn’t cost as much as my January heating bill. I don’t necessarily need the gear to do yoga in but basically to do everything else in life in. Enter: CS by City Sports. The company recently sent me pieces from their Fall & Winter collection and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and price. My fave? The cool little lightweight long sleeve featured in the picture below. The shirt makes me look a lot like this woman minus the combed hair, relaxed face, skinny legs, and seemingly 90 degree weather. Is it asking too much to have a shirt come with those things? Jeesh.
The woman on this video asks, “Is it difficult for you to squeeze in more than 5 or more servings of fruit and vegetables a day?” Since it’s difficult for me to squeeze a pee out during the day the answer to this question for me is yes, yes it is. Enter: Organic Greens Non-GMO Green Superfood Supplement by Dr. Mercola. It’s quick and easy and doesn’t taste like your chewing on a house plant. The organic Mushroom Blend is said to help boost immunity, something our household could certainly use more of this Winter. (Miss P’s stomach bug went around that ski house like wildfire.) Want to try a bottle? Two people will be sent one bottle of Organic Greens. Simply write a comment below and include your email. We will contact you if you’ve won.
I know, they are expensive. HOWEVER let me tell you they are worth their weight in gold. (And they’re magnets so they’re kinda heavy so like, that’s a lot of weight in gold.) These tiles pack an enormous amount of play value; something I know us New Englanders need in January. And February. And most of March, typically. (Why do I live here? Go Pats.) No but seriously this is the only toy my three year old started playing with alone and just kept going and going without needing any help from me. This is also not coincidentally the only time I got to go pee (see above.) I splurged on the larger pack and was glad I did. Trust me, they will love ’em.
A personal online stylist/shopper that will send you 5 pieces in every box. You decide how much you want to spend and you can also schedule the box to come every 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks with canceling anytime, no hassle. I think I might have died and gone to convenience heaven. (Tip: Having a Pinterest account will help your “stylist.”)
MINTED: ART MARKETPLACE
Have you seen this site yet or are you living under a rock? That was mean. I know you have kids and the only time you are online is to read this blog. I’m a huge paper junkie and this is my go-to site for all things invites, announcements, and cards. Lately I’ve been loving their Art Marketplace; they feature designs from independent artists which means you can find something really cool and unique.
This is a sponsored post however the ideas and opinions expressed are my own.
