This past Sunday it rained from the second we woke up to the second we went to bed. Not rained, poured. By 11am we had 3 cooped up kiddos needing to get the led out and 2 adults worrying if they would ever go to bed that evening. So we hopped in the car and drove to the brand new LAUNCH located in Framingham, MA. A quick and easy check-in process done electronically was a refreshing welcome to the typical paper clip boards. In less than 5 minutes we were signed in, given 5 pairs of official LAUNCH socks and were off.
I was a little nervous there wouldn’t be much for my 2 year old but “boy” was I wrong. He had the time of his life jumping on those trampolines! I had the time of my life watching him try to run up the trampoline wall like his siblings over, and over, and over again 🙂 He tried to explain to us in his 2 year old way that his socks were not allowing him to get to the top. “But your socks have grips on them honey, I’m pretty sure it’s not the socks.” I love that he believes in his little heart that he’s actually 6 like his brother.
“Hey guys, can you stop just for a second to take a picture?” No chance.
The facility is super clean and well staffed. I noticed the team members were very supportive as kids (and adults!) took on the obstacle challenge…they would stand at the end with cheers and high fives. My kids loved that. They also had a blast in the basketball court.
Jumping burns a lot of calories (to my fellow 40+ year olds: if you ever want to feel your whole age, chase your kids around a trampoline park.) so we nestled into the cozy eating area and had one of the biggest and best pretzels I’ve ever tasted, toasted to perfection. Seriously, get the pretzel.
Plenty of arcade space to take a breather in between jumps and don’t miss the opportunity to go against someone in the dodge ball court. All made out of trampolines, of course. Walking to get the kids a slushy I noticed there was a private birthday party room – a perfect place for 6 – 6 year old boys if you ask me!
