I remember my Mom and Dad being very musical. Mom played the piano and the flute and Dad played guitar and sang. They infused a love of music in us at an early age for sure, but musical instruments never stuck. We went to endless amounts of piano lessons and I think there was even a French Horn lesson in there somewhere. My little sister (weighing all of 50lbs. soaking wet) carried around a saxophone bigger than her for 5 years. But nothing ever stuck.
Nabi Music Center believes as the younger generations are growing up, they are not receiving enough music opportunities where they can freely express themselves and try new things. Their goal is to encourage individuals who have dreamt of becoming musicians and to rekindle the dreams in those who have become discouraged due to inadequate music instruction. By linking students with instructors, they make music education more accessible, creating more possibilities for students, and more business for instructors. It’s truly a musical community that brings people and their music together by sharing and learning.
To find a music instructor near you just simply chose from a drop down menu based on location and a long list of rated instructors with backgrounds are at your disposal. Feel free to filter by instrument. Choose “Artist” at $220/month that includes 4 private music lessons, make-up lessons, no long term contracts, and access to the Nabi blog. Or commit to 6 months for $190/m0 which gets you 24 private music lessons or 3 months at $210/mo which will get you 12. So while helping students make informed decisions in finding the right music instruction, they are building a destination and journey for passionate music instructors to find fulfilling career opportunities.
One of the many joys you experience as a parent is to watch your kids dance, sing, and play music without inhibition. It reminds you of a time when judgement and self-consciousness took a big backseat to fun. Music is the vocabulary used to express what we cannot say in words. Kudos to Nabi for harnessing this power!
